About the Artist
Sheila Noelle Carpenter has been working in mixed media for several years. She alters books, cigar boxes and shadow boxes into pieces of art. She collects ephemera, ribbons, stamps, cards and old photographs and integrates them into her pieces. Her work can also be viewed at the Green Rice Gallery in the Noda area of Charlotte.
